Половата активност при кучетата започва във възрастта между 6-ия и 8-ия месец и се проявява редовно през 6-10 месеца, докъм 10 или 12-годишна възраст.
Характерно за женското животно е набъбване на външните полови органи (вулвата) и изтичания от тях. Разгонването продължава приблизително 3 седмици. Функцията се характеризира с цикличност (поделяща се на 4 периода : Проеструс – стадий пред разгонване; Еструс – стадий на същинско разгонване или т. нар. стадий на полово влечение, Метеструс – стадий след разгонване, Анеструс – стадий на покой):
• Проеструс: продължителност 7-11 дни
Вулвата е едемна, наблюдава се кръвотечение. Женската привлича мъжки, но не позволява да я покриват.
• Еструс: 8-10 дни
Постепенно изтичанията се обезцветяват и стават воднисти. Женската позволява да я покриват. Това е моментът на овулацията, който обикновено се пада между 10ия и 14ия ден. Първият ден на разгонването съответства на първия ден на кървене.
Dormus – половата система не е активна
Важно е да отбележите точно датата и да си я запишете. Това ще ви даде възможност да разберете дали цикълът на вашата женска е редовен и да уведомите ветеринаря си.

Dogs come into season for the first time between the age of the 6 and the 8 month, and then the heat occurs regularly every 6-10 months, till their 10 or 12 year.
The bitch gets a vulval oedema (vulva swelling) and a vaginal bleeding. The heat persists approximately 3 weeks. The function is characterized with a certain cyclic recurrence (divided on 4 stages: Pro-oestrus – the pre-heat; Oestrus – the phase where the ovulation begins; Metoestrus – the post-heat stage; Anoestrus – the sexual repose stage):
• Pro-oestrus: 7- 11 days.
A swollen vulva with vaginal bleeding; the female attracts male dogs but she does not respond to them and she does not allow them to mount her.
• Oestrus: 8-10 days.
Progressively the flows become discoloured and aqueous. The bitch allows the male dog to mount her. It’s the moment of the ovulation, which usually takes place between 10 and 14 day of the heat. The first day of the heat corresponds to the initial day of the bleeding.
Dormus – the reproductive system is not active.
It’s important to perceive this date with precision and to put it on your agenda. It will allow you to know if your bitch is regularly menstruated and to notify your vet about it.
Glory is the first one of the G-series who moved into the womanhood on the 16th of December 2006!
Les premières chaleurs surviennent à l'âge de 6 à 8 mois, puis de façon régulière tous les 6 à 10 mois, jusqu’à la 10ème ou la 12ème année.
La chienne commence par présenter une vulve plus ou moins oedémateuse (enflée), et, par la suite un écoulement séro-sanguinolent s'installe. Les chaleurs durent environ 3 semaines. La fonction se caractérise par une certaine cyclicité (divisée en 4 périodes: Pro-oestrus – la phase de la pré-chaleur, Oestrus – phase du cycle œstral où se produit l'ovulation ; Metoestrus – la phase post-chaleur ; Anoestrus – la phase de repos sexuel) :
• Pro-oestrus durée: de 7- 11 jours.
La vulve devient oedémateuse, et on observe des pertes vulvaires sanguines. La chienne attire les mâles mais refuse l'accouplement.
• Oestrus durée: de 8-10 jours.
Les pertes vulvaires se décolorent progressivement et deviennent aqueuses. La chienne accepte le mâle (réflexe de posture). C'est le moment de l'ovulation, qui a lieu en général entre le 10ème et le 14ème jour des chaleurs. Le premier jour des chaleurs correspond au premier jour des saignements.
Dormus –le systeme reproductive n’est pas actif
Il est important de détecter cette date avec précision, et de la noter sur votre agenda. Cela vous permettra de savoir si votre chienne est réglée régulièrement, d’en pouvoir renseigner votre vétérinaire.
