Това е често срещано, незаразно кожно заболяване, причинено от миниатюрни кърлежи, известни като demodex canis. Те са видими под микроспоп. И тъй нелицеприятни ли са, не ни ги хвалете.

The serene pre-spring mood was flawed by the uninvited interloper, who goes by the name of Demodecosis, looking for a free meal. Literally! It’s a common skin disease, not contagious though, caused by a microscopic mite, also known as demodex canis. It is visible under the microscope. And if it’s so unsightly we’ll have none of it.
